COUNSELLING AND THERAPY FOR GRIEF AND LOSS IN GEELONG REGION

Consultations with Dr Lisa Burke are available Australia-wide via telehealth; in-person in Geelong West; or at an appropriate external location such as a care facility, hospital, or workplace.  

 The Australian Psychological Society recommended fee for a 50-minute psychology consultation is $300. Endeavour Psychology is committed to providing affordable quality healthcare services and as such, consultation fees are $240 per 50-minute session.  

If attending via a Mental Health Treatment Plan, you will receive a Medicare Clinical Psychology rebate of $137.05 per session, up to annual limits of 10 sessions (as at November 1st 2023).

Full payment is required at the time of consultation.  Bulk billing is not available.  Consultation fees subject to review on January 1st each year.

Because Lisa focuses strongly on engaging clients for assessment and treatment, reports or letters for legal, insurance, or Centrelink purposes are not able to be provided.

Endeavour Psychology follows the recommendations of the Australian Psychological Society in setting cancellation fees.

• When you make an appointment with Endeavour Psychology, you make a commitment to engage a professional service in pursuit of your mental health and wellbeing.
• Where circumstances prevent you attending your scheduled appointment, please contact Endeavour Psychology more than 24 hours prior to your appointment to cancel or reschedule at no charge. You can telephone or use the link in the appointment reminder email (sent 48 hours before your appointment).
• Provision of less than 24 hours notice renders a cancellation fee comprising 50% of the full session rate.
• Provision of no notice and/or non-attendance at any scheduled appointment renders a non-attendance fee comprising 100% of the full session rate. 
• These fees are in in recognition of business running costs, psychologist’s session preparation time, and non-attendance preventing any other client in psychological need from attending that appointment time.  

This cancellation policy applies to all clients regardless of referral pathway.  Clients attending via a third party such as DVA, TAC, Workcover, etc are individually liable for any non-attendance or cancellation fees.
